Nesta have launched a service to connect people who are interest in getting a heat pump with local heat pump owners: Visit a heat pump.
A number of WDS Green Energy air source heat pump systems are listed here, allowing you to visit to see a fully installed heat pump system in operation, and chat with the owner about their experience of the installation and life with a heat pump system.
As Nesta say: "Most people in the UK have never seen a heat pump. For those considering one, it’s difficult to find out how it might work in their home. We think that if people are able to see a heat pump in real life then they will become more confident in the technology and more likely to take the next steps towards getting one.". We couldn't agree more, and if there isn't an air source heat pump near you on the list, do get in touch with us and we may be able to find one of our existing installations who'd be happy to show you their system.
