Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Installation in Carmarthenshire
With energy bills rising substantially over the past couple of years, the owners of this working farm and farmhouse in Carmarthenshire were toying with the idea of generating their own electricity and benefitting from both reduced bills, and from the recently introduced Government incentive scheme, known as the Feed in Tariff (FiTs).
The Problem:
The owners of this working farm and farm house wanted an energy solution that was right for them and would reduce their bills but knew very little about the types of renewable technology available. The Owners needed a solution that was simple to follow and right for them. They turned to WDS Green energy after a recommendation from a friend.
The Solution:
To reduce the electricity consumption of a working farm and farmhouse in West Wales WDS Green energy installed a 2.88kW Solar PV system on the property, the south west facing barn roof with no shading was the ideal location to maximise the yield from this new array.
The client was seeking a company that could provide a renewable energy solution and help to access the grants and incentives available. WDS Green Energy provided a custom designed 2.88kW PV panel system for the barn roof and help and guidance for the client when it came to completing the grant and incentive paperwork.
The Owner says “It is very difficult to follow when one is unfamiliar with the subject but WDS Green Energy made it all very clear”
The Benefits:
Solar PV panels will not only reduce the electricity bills on this working farm but will also provide an income under the Government supported Clean Energy Cash-Back scheme, known as the Feed-in-Tariff (FiTs).
